Ok, we held off the rain, a bit. We held off the clouds, a bit. We held off the bright sun, a bit. And we held off the snow. The secap Sleaze got to follow the Skinny Nifkins, and we realized how they they won all those games. They never finished...."We are on the green, pick up the ball, gimme". Everything you need to know about Groundhogs

Imagine yourself as a young child, in an open field, running around playing tag or chasing your buddy, having fun on a sunny summer day. Everything is going great till your best friend is about to tackle you and your running away as fast as you can, then you place your foot into a ground hog hole, without seeing it, and you hear this loud snap! And your buddy hears the snap as well. Game over! This is PAINFUL.

Well this happened this week to my buddy Mark. Only difference is; he's is not a young child, don't think it was a big open field, he was not playing tag or football. As a matter of fact, I think he was just casually strolling along and talking.

Actually, I did some research on the internet, and I did learn that it is hard to walk and talk and keep your eyes open for "instantly appearing" groundhog holes.

Buddy, relax that foot and rest! That's why you have a family there to look after you, now, put them to work! So, now that you have all this free time to sit in bed, click on the title and read all you need to know about groundhogs.

May Long weekend

Well, wasn't that a warm and sunny long weekend.....NOT! I got a cold, rained most of the weekend and we find our schools will be closing on Wednesday due to a strike. It's time Sarah learned to stay at home by herself (joking)! Any how, we did manage to get the boat into the lake. Well, some people prepped it and some people stood around with a beer and took pictures. Pictures in the May Photo link (why, because it is still May).

End of Golf Lessons for beginners

Ok, I made it through the Golf Lessons Version 101! I have been golfing for years and decided it was time to get semi-fun-serious, so I took lessons. It was a great 6 weeks and I am looking forward to the next level starting in 2 weeks. So for all of you living on a golf course lot...protect your windows!

Cabin Work

I think summer is comeing...went to get the boat into my fathers lake. But that did not get done. What we did do though is rip up the carpets from Cathy and Tod's cabin, as Dale lay in bed sick with the flu. I will hopefully have the before and after photo's posted within the next couple of days. Dylan is growing up fast...he loves the pepperoni sticks!!!
