A new bill working the rounds on Capitol Hill would see the mandatory and complete switch to digital TV coming on April 7, 2009. At that time, all broadcasters would be required to turn off their old analog towers, or if you listen too closely to CNet, you'll even have to stop your own TV from broadcasting (" All television sets in American households must air digital-only broadcasts by spring of 2009"). I've told me TV several time to stop running that pirate TV station, but it just won't listen.
